11.1What a core player means
A core player is not just a roster tag — he is the centre of your club's long story. The core system lets you build around one defining player and accumulate a career, achievements and a generation's worth of memory. It pushes your goals past this season's record: you are also building a club with a lineage.
Core players are subject to age, contracts, condition and the ordinary arc of a career like everyone else. Core status does not keep him on the floor forever, and it does not spare you the hard calls.
11.2Succession
When the conditions are met, the core system offers you succession options and information on the candidates. Compare their positions, abilities, Peak, traits and what your club needs, then decide who is right to carry the next generation.
Succession is not a copy of the player before, and it is not a free pick of the best young player available. It is closer to a long-term building decision: do you continue the style of the previous core, or let the next generation go a different way? The best answer usually depends on where your tactics, your squad and your payroll are heading — not on which candidate looks best on paper.
11.3The Hall of Fame and retired numbers
When a core player's career ends, his record moves into the Hall of Fame and the retrospectives. You can look back through his career numbers, his seasons, his achievements and his defining moments. The most significant players also leave a mark at club level, such as a retired number passed into the club's history.
None of it raises your win percentage directly, and it is still the most distinctive part of playing RimAttack for the long haul: you are not only managing numbers, you are building a club's history.
