Part Five · League and the Long Game

Cheer Squad

Cheerleaders provide off-court bonuses and don't directly change player ratings. This chapter covers how to set the stage each week, how they level up, and how to get cards.

15.1The Stage and the Center Spot

Each week you can put 3 cheerleaders on stage, with 1 in the Center spot. Center-spot bonus effects are ×1.2. Some bonuses only work in the Center or Side spot.

15.2Bonuses and When They Apply

Cheer bonuses are off-court. They don't directly change player ratings. You can change next week's lineup any time, but it only takes effect after this weekend's settlement. If you don't submit a new lineup, last week's carries over automatically.

If a cheerleader levels up mid-week, her new bonuses take effect after this weekend's settlement.

15.3Spirit and Levels

There are 10 Cheer Levels. Appearing on stage, getting new cards, and converting duplicates all earn Spirit. At Lv.5, every bonus is unlocked.

15.4Exclusive Content

Exclusive content doesn't affect game results. It includes exclusive frames and visual effects, unlocked by Cheer Level.

15.5Packs and Drop Rates

Cards come from Character Packs and Theme Packs. Each pack has 3 cards, plus a 5% chance of 1 bonus card. See Drop Rates for each card's odds.

A card you already own is converted into Spirit for that cheerleader automatically. Every card can be earned with credits you get in the game.

15.6Your Data Follows Your Account

Your cheer squad data is saved with your account and isn't cleared when you abandon a team or the world restarts.
